Warriors Path State Park

The Warrior's Path State Park is one of Tennessee's 53 State Parks which offers diverse opportunities for individuals, families, or business and professional groups. This state park features a range of activities from pristine natural areas and horseback riding to an 18-hole championship golf course. Warrior's Path makes a great addition to our Bigfoot Adventure Tour at Bay's Mountain Park and Planetarium in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Warriors' Path State Park was named for the park's proximity to the ancient war and trading path used by the Cherokee. Since that time, the park land has known a long history of travelers, and is still a pathway for modern-day outdoor enthusiasts. The 950-acre area was acquired from the Tennessee Valley Authority is 1952, to serve the people who live in or visit this section of Northeast Tennessee. It is situated on the shores of TVA's Patrick Henry Reservoir on the Holston River.

If you have a love of the outdoors, especially these mountains, then you might like to take in the wildlife while you're here at Bays Mountain Park in Kingsport, Tennessee. The Appalachian GhostWalks "Legendary Cherokee Bigfoot Adventure Tour" is conducted there with advance reservations and make a great combination with your time out in the State Park during your visit. Bays Mountain is located about 20-30 minutes drive, offering zip lining, barge rides, and a planetarium show in addition to the tour we present as you learn about this illusive North American primate with many sightings here in East Tennessee, particularly in and around Sullivan County and Fort Henry Lake!! Call (423) 743-WALK (9255) to book your tour with us.
