|The Blue Plum Festival of Downtown Johnson City, Tennessee began in 1999 with the idea of bringing awareness to Downtown Johnson City while and having fun doing it! We have watched our downtown flourish and continue to bring the festival to the greater Johnson City community each year, continuing to highlight our growing and thriving downtown area!|
The Johnson City Blue Plum Festival usually takes place the 1st weekend in June of every year at Founders Park and King Commons Park in Downtown Johnson City. Event's include music and arts, wellness events, a kids zone, and even a silent disco (yes you heard that right!). There is so much to this years Blue Plum festival you have to attend to see it all. The festival consists of wellness events, two days of music, art and craft vendors, children's area, food court and much much more! Our goal is to create events that families and friends can enjoy and make memories for years to come!
Appalachian GhostWalks has been a participant as a vendor, or a performer in several of these East Tennessee events through the years and will continue to support our region's economy through tourism for many years to come. This year, Appalachian GhostWalks is set to bring festival goers a special engagement performance of our nightly, year-round "Little Chicago GhostWalk" dubbed our Johnson City "Spirits of a Different Kind" Festival Tour!!
