When I was around the age of twelve, my whole bed shook one day after I was punished to my room for misbehaving and saying a few choice words. Strangely, no one else heard the bed shaking, even though my bedroom was on the second floor with everyone sitting in the den directly underneath me!
I moved in with my mother at the age of sixteen and started feeling things. That's when weird things started happening like the television that would go on and off with channels changing and no one was near the remote when it happened. One time, I saw a plant seem to grow right before my eyes and wrap around a nearby walking stick.
My mother felt people touch her and we moved several times, but the activity seemed to follow us. We named the ghost "George" only to find out it was a "Georgette" when my mom saw her one morning. She had on a fifties style nightgown and same period hairstyle, had blond hair and looked to be in her early thirties. Mom saw her again after my son was born sitting beside him on the bed tucking him in. I saw her once, walking from one room to another.
I moved in with my boyfriend soon after and felt things there, too. His grandparents owned that house as well as the house across the road. Both houses were very haunted. I felt and heard things in both and others had as well. His aunt felt someone choking her one night awaking to see a man with a button up striped shirt standing over her. In the same house, my boyfriend and I were standing in the bottom bedroom when suddenly someone hit the door as hard as they could, but the door never opened. We looked around and saw no one.
In the house I and my boyfriend now own, his mother was getting his sister a bottle one night, back before he was born, and walked into the living room where she saw a whole room of people standing around as if they were having a party! I have felt these spirits in that same room a lot of times. It feels like there are too many to count. Drusila
