Kim and Mike Anders welcome you to Febuary Hill Bed & Breakfast. No, it is not the month misspelled, but a proper name of the Febuary Family who lived here for many generations. The hill on which the home resides takes its name from the Febuary Family. The Anders use the same spelling to honor its lineage. The rich history of these grounds was fashioned by a duel of President Andrew Jackson and providing a home to Civil War army general Reuben Frank Bernard. Most recently, it was the home of Dr. Burgin Dossett, a past president of East Tennessee State University who is discussed in detail during Appalachian GhostWalks' "Haunted Historic ETSU GhostWalk". Jonesborough residents refer to the home as the Dossett House located on Febuary Hill.
