The Hale Springs Inn ~ Rogersville, Tennessee | Ongoing activity around many of the historic structures along this tour route have given way to a great number of unique and startling experiences for our guests. The "Hale Springs Inn" (pictured left) is one of the oldest, continually operating inns in the State and as one of the featured stops along this tour route, guests will learn about the tremendous history and hauntings there. Rogersville is also host to the oldest Courthouse in the State and the site of Tennessee's first Post Office. The town even had it's very own "underground railroad" used to smuggle slaves, who might yet haunt the old tunnels under several of the towns historic buildings! |

From Highway US-441 take Highway 66 North for 8.47 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-40 East for 13.77 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-81 North toward the left toward Bristol, TN; Take Exit 8 Highway US-25E toward Morristown and White Pine keeping right at the fork 0.17 miles; Now you will be on US-25E North also called Highway TN-32 North for 15.35 miles; then merge onto Highway US-11W North also called the "Lee Highway", or Highway TN-1 East toward Rogersville for approximately 18 to 19 miles until you see a Burger King on your left; Turn right at the next intersection onto Park Blvd and go approximately 0.5 miles to E Main Street; Turn right onto E Main Street and go for approximately 1 mile to The H.B. Stamps Memorial Library at 407 East Main Street in Rogersville, Tennessee 37857...
