The Little Chicago GhostWalk of downtown Johnson City brings you much in the way of early 20th century life with the history and origins of NASCAR, bootlegging, and moonshine running. Find out more about Johnson City's only mass murder and how the truth of this tragic affair, associated with the gangster period of the 1920s resurfaced due to the efforts of one particularly gifted psychic during our recent investigations in one downtown Johnson City building. You will even learn about the underground tunnels beneath the city streets and how they were used by Al Capone and his band of mercenaries - all while touring what he called the "Appalachian Wing" of his illegal whiskey dealing operation...

You will also journey to new destinations as details of Johnson City's rich history and love affair with the train are revealed and find out why bank robbers would never attempt to rob banks in this town! Johnson's Depot was the end of the line for the beloved "Tweetsie Railroad". You'll learn about the "little engine that could" and how the railroad sadly came to an end. Our tour of Little Chicago elaborates on Johnson City's history and haunted buildings where you might even spy the ghost of Al Capone, as well as that of his associates in the Historic Downtown area who just might be standing in the shadows and awaiting you!
