Join us as we stroll down one of Tennessee's most historic Main Streets while visiting its haunted landmarks! Learn about the Cherokee Indian occupation of the Valley Beautiful prior to the arrival of the first white settlers to East Tennessee. You'll also discover more about one of the lost battles of the Civil War as local family diaries reveal for us the nearly forgotten details of a battle nearly lost to time. We even know the weather conditions on the day the battle happened!!!

Home to the Annual October "Apple Festival" Erwin in Unicoi County, Tennessee is full of spellbinding stories, folklore, and legend! Never before has it all been pulled together in a way that presents to our tour participants a new picture of where all of us mountain folk have come from and where we have been. This presentation is delivered at the covered pavillion of the National Fish Hatchery located on the adjacent property to be followed shortly with dinner with your guide and the lantern-led tour of downtown Erwin...

From Highway US-441 take Highway 66 North for 8.47 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-40 East for 13.77 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-81 North toward the left toward Bristol, TN; Take Exit 57A onto Interstate I-26 East toward Johnson City for 28.69 miles; Take old Exit 37 for Highway TN-81, also called Highway TN-107 Erwin and Jonesborough and turn left at the bottom of the off ramp; Go 0.42 miles and turn right onto N Main Avenue continuing on Main for 0.27 miles; at the next stop light you will see a Sonic Drive-In; Turn right at this intersection onto Union Street and go for 0.07 miles bearing left onto Nolichucky Avenue going less than 0.2 miles ending at the J.F.
