As we continue our tour, you will learn about the old Rogers Hotel and the James Tavern owned by an ancestor of the infamous Jessie James, who perhaps still visits this once bustling Village of Blount. You'll also discover how a devistating flood changed the town forever, but how Blountville's 'people of the past' are still coming and going there still today...
In addition, everyone is invited to come and visit the newly restored "Deery Inn", which is thought to be very haunted, before we engage in the lantern-lit tour of the town. The Deery opened it's doors to the public for the first time in Summer 2007 and is one of the featured stops along our tour route...
This tour departs from The Old Jail (GAOL) and Sheriff's Residence located behind the Sullivan County Courthouse. Blountville is also highly recommended as a great day tour for our day and night time tour packages...

From Highway US-441 take Highway 66 North for 8.47 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-40 East for 13.77 miles; Merge onto Interstate I-81 North toward the left toward Bristol, TN; Take Exit 69 Highway TN-394 toward Blountville for 0.27 miles; Turn RIGHT onto Highway TN-394 S and go for 0.65 miles; Turn LEFT into the parking lot of the old sheriff's residence up on the hill behind the Sullivan County Courthouse, Blountville, TN 37617 US Total Estimated Time: 1 hour, 44 minutes; Total Distance: 99.87 miles...
