| The Dickson-Williams Mansion, the Andrew Johnson Visitor's Center and Tailor Shop, and the Andrew Johnson Homestead - a Federal Historic Site, the latter two of which are free admission make great daytime companions to our Historic Greeneville Ghost Tour; and Cherokee Whitewater Adventures with whitewater rafting on the rapids of the Nolichucky River, as well as Wetlands Water Park, are great ways to cool off in the hot days of Spring, Summer, and Fall in the Southern Appalachians which goes great with the Haunted Historic Erwin GhostWalk, or our Haunted Historic Jonesborough Ghost Tours... |
In addition, there are several area museums which go very well with many of our Haunted Historic GhostWalks including Hand's On, the Fields-Penn House, and Tipton-Haynes. If you'd like to visit more of Sullivan County driving and/or stopping by some of the most famously haunted and historic icons you'll be treated to a visit to the Allandale Mansion as well as the Allandale Estate which includes a daytime tour of the grounds with an interior tour is available but subject to availability; included in the daytime tours of Sullivan County include a drive past the famous Rotherwood Mansion, Sensabau Tunnel, Yancey Tavern, and the Netherland Inn, each with accompanying stories about their "People of the Past".
